Researchers warn that ongoing environmental changes are changing forests worldwide which leads to short and young trees with broad impact on the global ecosystem. The study showed how rising temperatures and carbon dioxide have been modifying the forests in the world. The change in size in trees hint a reduction in their ability to store carbon & potentially large shifts in the mix of species that compose & inhabit forests.
