Global power city Index: London tops again, While Chinese cities witnessed a fall

The reducing local economy and failure to attract people have caused a steep fall in the ranking for Beijing and Shanghai. Last year Beijing was on 13th and this year it is on 23rd while Shanghai is in 26th spot, down from 15th. Mumbai is the only Indian city to be featured on the list on the 43rd spot. For the 7th consecutive year, London has appeared to be the most powerful city followed by Tokyo, Paris and Singapore.
