The famous Glock pistols from Austria that are used by military, police and special forces in more than 70 nations, including India, America, England and France, may soon be available to Indian civilians for the first time. Tamil Nadu-based Countermeasures technologies PVT. ltd. (CMT) and Glock Ges.m.b.H, Austria signed a deal in 2019 for the manufacturing of pistols at the CMT plant in Tiruvallur district.
