At a time, when developing countries are facing the problems of population explosion, there are some species on the earth that are on the verge of extinction, and the golden langur is the latest one to become the extinct as the last surviving of the species from Assam's Umananda island has passed away in the last week. Gobinda, was the only survivor of his species on the island.
