Google employees sign a petition for removal of a member of new AI Ethics board

More than 500 Google employees signed a petition to remove Kay Coles James, a new member of Google's AI ethics board ATEAC. She made some anti-trans remarks, calling transgender women as biological males in the past.'Google Against Transphobia' group called her 'anti-LGBTQ' & 'anti-immigrant' for her comments. The group also said that her appointment elevates & endorses her views & that's unacceptable. Google is yet to respond.
