According to government data, the cumulative coronavirus positivity rate in the country has fallen to just 7.23%. The positivity rate has plunged to 7.23% on November 8 from 7.94% on October 19. India is now reporting less than 45,000 cases per day. "Overall, the trend is encouraging as there is a decline in various categories, including the cumulative case positivity rate,” a senior health ministry official said.
