Government employees including those from RBI, LIC contributed Rs 200 crore to PM Cares fund

According to a report, the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM Cares) fund received over Rs 200 crore from the Reserve Bank of India, at least seven public sector banks and seven leading financial institutions. The government officials from these institutions donated Rs 204.75 crore from their salaries to the fund. LIC alone gave Rs 113.63 crore to PM Cares fund.
