Government starts groundwork as pharma companies gear up for vaccine launch

The central government has started the groundwork for effective storage, supply and delivery of coronavirus vaccine and leading pharma companies are readying to launch their vaccine candidates. Nearly 300 million people will get the first shot of the coronavirus vaccine including the frontline workers after the launch. The government is planning to vaccinate 900 million in all and 1,800 million syringes are required for that.
