Govt identifies 24 sectors to push manufacturing, expect Rs 20 lakh crore output in 5 years

Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal while unveiling 4th Assessment Report on State Business Reform Plan said that govt has jointly identified 24 products with the private sector, from which it expects Rs 20 lakh crore each worth of manufacturing output in the next five years. Goyal said the focus on these 24 products/sectors will also provide scores of job opportunities, expand economic activities in the country.
