GSMA: India will have 920 m unique mobile subscribers & 88 m 5G connections by 2025

The global telecom industry body GSMA forecasts India to have 920 million unique mobile subscribers by 2025 that includes 88 million 5G connections. This move will leave India trailing regional peers like China. It also believes that India alone will generate almost a quarter of the world's new mobile subscribers in this period. GSMA also said that a recent survey on global mobile data pricing revealed India to be cheapest.
