A report by traffic police revealed half of the accident cases in Delhi in 2017 were hit-and-run cases and 44% of the victims were pedestrians. It stated that in Delhi there is 1 fatal death in every single kilometre in 2017. On an average, 4 people died every day in accidents. Talking about a particular area in Delhi, Mukundpur Chowk reported maximum hit-and-run cases. Private cars and taxis are more dangerous on roads.
