Harpreet A De Singh first woman to become the CEO of Indian Airline

In a first, an Indian airline appointed a female CEO. Air India’s subsidiary Alliance Air appointed Harpreet A De Singh as the CEO. She is currently serving as Air India’s executive director (flight safety). Captain Nivedita Bhasin will now take the charge of Executive Director. According to the information gathered, Singh was the first woman pilot to be selected by Air India in 1988 but couldn't fly due to health conditions.
