Heart operations in India costlier than richer countries

A comparison of costs for cardiac operations have been conducted among the Asian nations and the procedures in India are costlier than the richer countries like South Korea. The study has covered nearly 50 hospitals in India across the major cities and compared the cost of ECG, angioplasty and a few others. Till 2014 cardiac procedures in India were cheaper than in Thailand or China but Costlier than in South Korea.
