HIV & SARS-CoV-2 have similar features & use same tactics to enter immune system, warns Chinese researchers

Chinese scientists warned that both HIV & SARS-CoV-2 have the same characteristics and use the same tactics to enter our immune system. This is not good news as this could mean that we will have to adapt to life with COVID-19 indefinitely. Both these viruses remove markers present on the surface of cells on the immune system to identify & kill infections. Coronavirus also shows some features of viruses that cause chronic infection.
