HIV-infected Gopal Shrestha scales world's highest peak Mount Everest

A 56-year-old Gopal Shrestha from Pokhara in Nepal becomes the 1st HIV-infected climber to scale the world's highest peak, Mount Everest. He set his feet on the summit of the 8848-metre tall mountain at the Everest Base Camp. He was once a former national football player climbed Everest in the 2nd attempt. Through his expedition, he aims to raise awareness in society & provide education to children affected with HIV.
