Home ministry canceled Infosys Foundation's registration over violation of norms

The registration of Bengaluru based NGO Infosys Foundation has been canceled by the Home Ministry for alleged violation of norms about foreign grants. Last year the Home ministry served notice to the NGO for failing to submit annual income and expenditure statement on foreign funding for previous 6-years. According to FCRA guidelines, all registered associations need to submit online annual reports for every financial year.
