Women can get command posts in Army if govt changes mindset declares Supreme court

The SC stated that if the government changes its mindset then women officers could be given command posts in the Army. The honourable court further added that it is a high time the dispensation implements it. This was when the judge was listening to a petition where there was a demand for permanent commission for women in the Army. Tushar Mehta, the solicitor general said that Indian Army officials are not ready for women commanders
