Canada has released Huawei’s chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou, who was in detention since December 2018. Wanzhou left for China on Friday. Hours later, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that Beijing has released two Canadians, including a former diplomat, who were detained under espionage charges following the arrest of the Huawei CFO. The two Canadians have already left for their country.
