Humans swallowing scary amount of plastics every week

According to a recent study, humans are consuming 5 grams of plastic every day, which is equivalent to the weight of a credit card. The study has been commissioned by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and its findings highlight the immediate need to address the plastic issues the world is facing. It says 250 grams of plastic is consumed by humans in a year and to stop this, the root cause of the plastic pollution needs to be found.
