ICC has no authority to open investigation: Israel on war crimes investigation in Palestine

Israel has refused to work with International Criminal Court for war crimes investigation into the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories. "The state of Israel is committed to the rule of law... and expects the court to refrain from violating its sovereignty and authority," a letter issued by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office read. The letter also rejected the claim that Israel commits war crimes.
