Singapore has become the first country in the world to give regulatory approval to the sale of lab-grown meat in the country. The country's government has given its nod to US start-up Eat Just to sell its lab-grown meat. The lab-grown meat is also known as clean meat and does not come from slaughtered animals. The production cost of lab-grown meat is relatively higher. Eat Just said it will sell the meat as nuggets.
