Farmers doing suicide in India is a big issue, and in a recently collected data, it was reported that in Maharashtra, over 200 farmers committed suicide in the month of April. The report by the state govt stated that between January-March 2019, nearly 610 farmers committed suicide in Maharashtra. To sum-up, Maharashtra witnessed over 800 suicides in the first 4 months, which means the condition of farmers is getting worse.
