India aims to end tuberculosis by 2025, five years ahead of SDG: Dr. Harsh Vardhan

Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said while addressing the ministers of Member Nations of WHO and UN representatives that India has bolstered its fight against Tuberculosis and is aiming to end the disease by 2025, five years ahead of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). "We have significantly reduced the number of missing TB patients from one million in 2016 to less than 0.5 million in 2019," Dr. Harsh Vardhan said.
