US intelligence agencies have placed 11 countries including India, and Afghanistan among the "highly vulnerable" countries. The list has been prepared considering the abilities of these countries to tackle environmental and societal crises caused by climate change. The Office of Director of National Intelligence has predicted in a new National Intelligence Estimate that global warming is likely to increase geopolitical tensions.
