India boosted Commonwealth games: UK business chief

Lord Jonathan Marland, chairman of the UK-based Commonwealth Enterprise has agreed that India has given the much-needed boost to the games. PM Narendra Modi will soon attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in April which will act as proof that India boosted Commonwealth’s value. Marland also dismissed "Empire 2.0" term given by UK media that connects Britain with the Commonwealth as a throwback to the Raj.
