India deploys subsonic Nirbhay Missile near LAC amid border tensions with China

Amid the ongoing border tensions with China over the Ladakh region, India has deployed the Nirbhay subsonic cruise missile to counter Chinese buildup along the Line of Actual Control. Nirbhay missile has a range of over 1,000 km and a single shot kill ratio of more than 90 percent. The DRDO-developed missile will be inducted into the Indian Army and Navy after the seventh trial scheduled next month.
