India likely to join the “COVAX” global vaccine allocation plan: WHO

According to a recent statement by the World Health Organization, India is in talks to join the “COVAX” global vaccine allocation plan. “India is certainly eligible, like all countries in the world, to be part of the COVAX facility and discussions are ongoing in that regard,” Bruce Aylward said during a briefing in Geneva. Aylward added that India has extensive experience in developing vaccines and it would be very useful for WHO.
