India Pakistan agree to stop cross border firing after phone call between DGMOs

After continuous ceasefire violations and cross-border firing between Indian and Pakistan along the Line of Control, the two sides have reached an agreement to stop the cross-border firing. The agreement was reached mutually after a phone call between the Directors General of Military Operations of India and Pakistan. The ceasefire violations between the two countries were at their peak between 2016 and 2018.
