India recorded second million of its Covid19 cases in just 21 days

The total count of the novel coronavirus cases in India has surpassed the 2 lakh-mark and now stands at 2,022,730. Out of this, 62,088 cases were reported on Thursday itself. The rate of spread in the country is increasing rapidly. It took India just 21 days to reach 2 million from 1 million cases. The cases of Covid19 in the country are doubling every 22.7 days. India has added an average of 53,955 cases a day since the last week.
