India reports over 50,000 coronavirus cases for 5th straight day; Total tally cross 18 lakh

Coronavirus cases in India mounted to 18,03,695 on Monday, recording the spike of 52,792 positive cases and 771 deaths in India in the last 24 hours. As per the Ministry of Health data, the total active cases in the country stands at 579357 whereas 11,86,203 are cured/discharged. The total death toll surged to 38,135 on Monday. The recovery rate stood at 65.52 percent this morning.
