India to get emergency loan support from Japan to fight Covid19

Days after the former Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe stepped down from his post due to ill health, Tokyo said it will provide emergency loan support of up to 50 billion yen to India to fight the spread of novel coronavirus. Additional Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs of Finance Ministry, CS Mohapatra and Japanese ambassador Suzuki Satoshi together finalised the loan for New Delhi amid the pandemic.
