Indian Air Force's squadron to be resurrected, will be first Rafale unit

On Tuesday it was announced that the IAF is expected to revive its 'Golden Arrows' 17 Squadron. This will be the first unit to fly the multi-role Rafale fighter jets. BS Dhanoa, IAF chief declared this at Ambala and is preparing to receive the Rafale jets. Dhanoa last commanded the brave Golden Arrows' 17 Squadron during the Kargil war of 1999. The first Rafale jet is said to arrive in India by the end of this month.
