Indian Army to procure 100 'SkyStriker' drones from Bengaluru-based firm

The Indian Army is going to procure 100 'SkyStriker' drones from Bengaluru-based Alpha Design to boost its aerial strike capabilities. The drones have been built in collaboration with Israeli firm Elbit Security Sysy Systems and are capable of carrying ammunition atop them to conduct strikes from far-off distances. The Rs. 100 crore contract for the procurement of the drones was signed on September 1.
