Indian aviation in trouble: Empty seats rise for the 1st time in 10 quarters

For the first time in 10 quarters in the last 3 months of 2018, due to various reasons Indian Airlines witnessed a decrease in the passenger load and the increased price affected it even more. The percentage of seats filled declined 296 basis points over the previous quarter. Indian Airlines was witnessing a slowed down passenger growth since 2017 and in the second quarter of 2018, the decrease was prominent.
