Indian Government rejected Google’s Street View proposal

Google who was seeking permission for three years from the Indian government to launch Street View in India has been recently rejected by the government. There is no explanation as to why the government rejected Google’s proposal. The proposal was submitted by Google in July 2015. Street View allows users to explore nearby locations and landmarks and other things in 360-degree panoramic and street-level imagery.
