Indian origin woman creates world record for buying the most expensive shot of cognac

Indian origin woman, Ranjeeta Dutt McGroarty, founder and director of Trinity Natural Gas has entered the Guinness book of records for buying a 40ml shot of cognac for £10,014 or Rs. 9.2 lakhs in London. The cognac, Rome de Bellegarde, was discovered in 2004 in the cellar of Jean Fillioux and date back to 1894. Only 67 bottles have been decanted so far. The shot was sold at the Hyde Kensington bar on Wednesday.
