Indian users "unilaterally" subjected to privacy policy change by Whatsapp: Centre tells court

The Centre today exposed the Facebook-owned messaging platform in the Delhi High Court while highlighting the difference in treatment with Indian and European users. The Centre also said that the platform was unilaterally subjecting the Indian users to the changes in its privacy policies. Additional Solicitor General Chetan Sharma also slammed Whatsapp's "all or nothing approach" that forced Indian users to accept the new policy.
