The UN has announced that the "historic" international treaty prohibiting nuclear weapons will come into force in 90 days. "It represents a meaningful commitment towards the total elimination of nuclear weapons, which remains the highest disarmament priority of the United Nations," said UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. Honduras has become the 50th nation to accept the historic agreement, said ICAN.
