The explosion at a Shia mosque in Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province that killed at least 100 on Friday, was carried out by the Islamic State Khorasan. It was the second deadly attack by the Islamic State group in recent times after the deadly attack at the Kabul airport that claimed over 170 lives, including 13 US soldiers. The explosion at the Shia mosque happened when locals were attending the prayer on Friday.
