Israeli airforce bombs Gaza in response to rocket firing by militants

In yet another retaliation against the militant groups, Israeli jets bombed Gaza after the militants fired rockets through the night to hinder the signing of landmark normalization deals with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain in Washington. Later, Gaza ruler Hamas warned Israel of an escalation if it continued to bomb Gaza. Several protest rallies kicked off in Palestine to oppose the signing of the peace deal.
