Italy’s iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa opens after 3 months
The Leaning Tower of Pisa in northern Italy has opened up to tourists once again. Generally the historic tower and surrounding sites witness five million visitors a year. But with the new lockdown-easing measures imposed, only 15 will be allowed in the tower at any one time from now on. Visitors will have to wear masks and an electronic gadget that sends warning signals if someone gets within a metre of someone else.
