The Jadavpur University had to be shut by the authorities after an employee tested positive for Covid19 on July 12. While the classes were called off in March itself, administrative work was going on. The employee who tested positive works at the research department. The municipal corporation will also sanitize the Aurobindo Bhawan, which is the administrative building of the famous university in Kolkata.
