Jamia Professor sent on leave over sexual assault charges

The professor of Jamia Milia Islamia, who faced allegations of sexual harassment by the students has been sent on leave by the administration of the university. Prof. Hafeez Ahmad, Head of Department, Applied Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts was alleged to have harassed female students of the college and since then the students were on protest seeking justice. 3 other male students were too suspended for assaulting 2 students.
