Japan to release water containing radioactive substances into the sea

According to the Jiji news agency and other local new portals, Japan is going to release treated water containing radioactive substances from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant into the sea after the government's decision. As per the reports, over a million tonnes of contaminated water has been collected by the Tokyo Electric since the earthquake and tsunami in 2011 that led to the damage of major parts of the plant.
