Jharkhand's Direct Benefits Transfer Scheme is not making the residents happy

Jharkhand government has experimented with the Direct Benefits Transfer (DBT) and as result 97% of the residents are unhappy with it, according to a civil society survey that has been conducted among 13 villages in Nagri and it shows that now the residents first need to collect food subsidy from the bank and only then they would be able to purchase rations, and that is making thing difficult for the residents.
