SC orders J&K authorities to review all restrictive orders including internet suspension within a week

The Supreme Court today said that Right to the internet is also a part of freedom of speech and expression, while listening to a plea challenging the restrictions imposed in Jammu and Kashmir following the scrapping of provisions of Article 370. "Suspending internet should be reviewed forthwith. Such suspension can only be for a limited time period and is subject to judicial review," the apex court said.
