Earth's biggest planet Jupiter and Saturn are going to come the closest on December 21, making a spectacular event for sky gazers. The rare event will be visible across the globe in the evening. According to NASA, the last time the planets passed this close to each other in the sky was almost 400 years ago. The planets will be so bright during the event that they will be visible even from most cities.
