Karnataka Covid19 toll surpasses Delhi's cases, active cases 7 times more than Delhi

Another Indian state Karnataka is battling against the wide outbreak of the novel coronavirus. The health infrastructure in the state continues to reel under the burden of rising cases. Karnataka now has nearly 1.4 lakh coronavirus cases and has become the third worst-affected state in the country. Out of 1,39,571 total cases, 74,477 are active cases. The death toll due to the pandemic in the state stands at 2,594.
