The Karnataka government has launched a campaign called 'Namaste over Handshake' which encourages people to greet in the traditional Indian style in order to tackle the spread of coronavirus. The campaign includes health advice on how people can protect themselves by adopting good hygiene practices. As part of the campaign, a poster of a Bharatnatyam dancer draped in a red saree saying 'Namaste' has been uploaded on social media.
