The Karnataka govt honoured water warrior Kame Gowda with a lifetime free bus pass to travel in all classes of state road transport buses,days after PM Modi lauded Gowda. Kame Gowda, a shepherd from a small village in Karnataka's Mandya district was lauded by PM in his most recent Mann Ki Baat broadcast. PM Modi explained how he had dug ponds near his village Dasanadoddi so that the area could get enormous water all year.
